Tip: April-June (first/second flush) offers the finest teas.

Note: Early departures from Pathankot optimize thermal conditions for better flights.
Neugal Park offers cliff-side walks over a dramatic stream gorge. Baijnath (35 km) is a 13th-century Shiva temple, one of the finest Nagara-style examples in Himachal.
28 km away. Historic pottery and arts colony established in the 1920s. Home to fine stoneware workshops and the Norah Richards theatre space. A cultural gem.
A 130 km drive across the heart of the Kangra valley. Flat to gently rolling terrain for the first half, then a steady climb into the Dhauladhar foothills.
A 7 AM departure reaches Palampur by 10 AM, perfect for a morning tea estate walk and lunch before the afternoon heat builds.
Flat, wide valley road. The Dhauladhar mountains become increasingly imposing. Optional stop at Kangra Fort (the ancient hill capital) 45 minutes.
The 13th-century shikhara temple. An architectural and spiritual high point. A 45-minute stop here is the most recommended addition to this drive.
The tea terraces appear on the hillsides. Driver drops directly at your hotel, tea estate, or continues onward to Bir (additional 25 km).
Palampur is at the center of the best regional excursions. Booking a multi-day package allows your driver to handle the mountain logistics while you focus on the views.
25 km from Palampur. The paragliding capital of Asia. Our drivers know the Billing launch track (SUV recommended) and the Bir landing zone perfectly, shuttling between them while you fly.
18 km from Kangra town. One of the oldest forts in the Himalayan foothills. Combine this with the Brajeshwari temple on your drive in from Pathankot.
Baijnath temple and Andretta Pottery Village. A perfect half-day circuit for culture and craft lovers, accessible year-round from Palampur.
Pathankot → Palampur → Bir Billing → Kangra → Pathankot. Pre-booking a 2 or 3-day circuit gives you a dedicated driver, fixed rate, and complete flexibility for all local runs.
"Driver suggested we stop at the Kangra Fort on the way, which I hadn't planned at all. We spent 45 minutes walking the ramparts and the view of the valley was incredible. He also knew the perfect angle for the Palampur tea garden photos before we reached the town. It was the best possible beginning to the trip."
"Solo trip specifically for paragliding. The driver knew exactly when the thermals are best at Billing and timed our arrival. He waited at the landing zone in Bir with cold drinks when I touched down. Perfect, stress-free execution."
"Three-day circuit. The driver knew the Baijnath evening puja timing and recommended Andretta pottery. The circuit was seamless because the driver knew all the back roads and avoided the main highway traffic jams. Having the same professional driver for the entire circuit made the whole trip relaxing."
"TaxiBazaar is transforming global ground transportation with innovation and scale."
